Schedule

Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Medical Rehabilitation Unit. This role will primarily focus on treating stroke patients and facilitating recovery through innovative therapy approaches in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients with various rehabilitative needs.
• Work collaboratively with Physical Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists.
• Utilize a well-equipped OT gym and kitchen for therapy sessions.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 8 treatments per day.
• Participate in continuous improvement of therapy programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
• Current certifications in BLS and NBCOT required.
• Pending state licensure accepted; must be licensed to practice in West Virginia.
