Schedule

Day shift, 4x10 hours, Monday through Friday (07:30 AM - 06:00 PM) with an on-call rotation required.

Job Description

The Angiography Tech is responsible for providing comprehensive services in the interventional radiology suite. This role includes performing various angiography procedures, proper equipment maintenance, maintaining sterile techniques, and ensuring patient safety at all times. The average daily census is 7-10 patients, and the tech will work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients, set up equipment, and perform EKG lead placement.
• Prepare access sites and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Assist in vascular closure systems and various interventional procedures.
• Ensure appropriate infection control measures are implemented.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• ARRT and West Virginia State License required (active prior to start).
• BLS certification required; Vascular Intervention Certification preferred.
• Experience with fluoroscopy and various radiology equipment (Siemens and Ultrasound preferred).
