Long Term Care Nursing Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

8-hour shifts with varied schedules, including weekends and holidays. Candidates must be flexible, as there is no guarantee of hours or shift preferences.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced nursing professionals for a long-term care facility located on the site of a hospital. Responsibilities include performing assessments, administering treatments and medications, and communicating pertinent information to medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and provide treatments to residents.
• Administer medications and notify MD/NP of pertinent information.
• Assist with admissions and discharges.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Care for patients with Gastrostomy Tubes and Urinary Catheters.
• Administer nebulized treatments, Wound Vac care, CPAP care, and Tracheostomy care.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Proof of flu vaccination is required prior to the contract start date. The flu vaccination can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment. Candidates must arrive on the Thursday before the start date for this appointment.
