Schedule

36 or 48 hours/week with rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. On-call and callback required.

Job Description

This role is situated in a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department, which is a state-of-the-art facility managing over 100,000 visits annually. As the only Level I trauma hospital in the area, this department is responsible for treating a diverse patient population, including boarder patients. Please note that the Emergency Room is unable to support first-time travelers.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include providing high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department, coordinating with healthcare teams, and managing patient loads effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• RN License (New York only)
• Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Previous travel Emergency Room experience required
• BLS (American Heart Association only)
• ACLS (American Heart Association only)
• NIHSS certification preferred
