Day shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with weekend hours as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to provide skilled care for long-term and skilled patients at two facilities. This position involves working with elderly residents who are in need of rehabilitation services after experiencing acute on chronic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to long-term care and skilled rehab residents.
• Administer treatments as prescribed by the overseeing physical therapist.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in the mobility and rehabilitation exercises of patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in long-term care or skilled nursing settings.
• Current licensed PTA certification and CPR certification are required.
• Flexible and adaptable to work effectively in a team environment.
