12-hour night shifts, 36 hours scheduled over a 24-day period (bi-weekly).

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for our Tele/Cardiac Unit. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in cardiac and telemetry nursing, with a strong focus on patient care and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and document findings accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain a high standard of patient care and safety.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care strategies.
• Effectively communicate with patients and their families regarding care and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have experience with Epic systems.
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience in a cardiac or tele unit.
• Current New York State RN License.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Neuro/stroke experience is highly preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
