8-hour evening shifts, with no weekends, holidays, or call requirements.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technician will provide essential support in the pre and post catheterization labs, with a focus on procedural care and critical care environments. This position requires a background in Cath Lab experience, including familiarity with EMR systems, particularly EPIC, and float responsibilities between EP pre/post care and the Cath Lab at Einstein/Weiler.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cath lab procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Provide pre and post-operative care for patients undergoing catheterization.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Cath Lab environment.
• Comply with all safety protocols and procedures within the lab setting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• NY State nursing license required.
