Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Psych Services department is an essential member of the patient care team, responsible for direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas. The RN will develop and periodically update individualized, interdisciplinary plans of care, evaluate patient outcomes, and identify available resources for patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient outcomes and provide direct and indirect patient care.
• Identify resources available to patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-Year Associates degree required.
• Valid State of Maine RN license required.
• BLS Certification required.
• CPI training must be current prior to start.
• At least 1 year previous experience in mental health nursing required.
