Certified Surgical Technologist - Open Heart Experience Required

Schedule

Shift: 06:30 AM - 05:30 PM. On call requirements are typically for 2 days during the week and every 2nd to 3rd weekend. There is one on-call holiday if applicable.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist with open heart experience to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will be adept at providing assistance in surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during open heart procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile instruments and surgical supplies.
• Follow protocols for patient safety and infection control.
• Support the surgical team in all aspects of the procedure.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist is mandatory.
• Experience in open heart surgery is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to meet other licensure and health requirements defined by the facility.
