Night shift, 12 hours per shift, 4 days on.

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join a 32-bed unit specializing in adult and older adult patient care. The unit manages trauma patients and administers acute medications as ordered. The nursing role includes monitoring heparin drips and ensuring patient safety with specialty equipment such as gait belts and geriatric chairs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and administer medications as prescribed.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Monitor and record patient health status and vital signs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Prior experience in medical/surgical tele unit required.
• Documentation of med/tele experience and completion of a clinical checklist.
• NICHE training preferred.
