Physical Therapist Position

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:30 AM - 05:00 PM), including weekends.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team at a Critical Access Hospital that provides comprehensive therapy services to patients of all ages. The therapy department is focused on outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facility care, with specialties in wound care, lymphedema therapy, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and pediatric therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in improving their physical health and quality of life through therapeutic interventions.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans using Epic charting system.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and health maintenance strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a physical therapist.
• BLS certification is required.
• Active Alaska state license is required; no pending licenses accepted.
• Experience in outpatient settings and familiarity with a variety of patient diagnoses preferred.
