Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (07:00 - 15:00). One regular weekend shift per week.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitation services primarily in the inpatient rehabilitation unit while occasionally floating to other inpatient units including clinical decision unit, ICU, telemetry, med-surg, surgical units, and the emergency department. Candidates should be skilled in assessing and treating patients with a variety of diagnoses specializing in geriatrics, neurology, and orthopedics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and document therapy provided.
• Provide patient and family education regarding rehabilitation goals and strategies.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to improve patient outcomes.
• Utilize adaptive equipment and techniques to enhance patient mobility and independence.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current state occupational therapy license (may be pending).
• Experience with EPIC charting system required.
