5x8 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday with holiday rotation.

Job Description

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, assembly, and wrapping of surgical instruments and equipment. This role requires adherence to infection control standards and protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, sterilize, and assemble surgical instruments and equipment.
• Maintain inventory and ensure all equipment is properly prepared and ready for use.
• Follow established protocols for infection control and safety.
• May require floating to sister facilities as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing.
• Must possess national certifications such as CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA.
• Experience with Level 1 Trauma and various surgical specialties preferred, including neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, and GYN.
• Ability to float or be switched to alternative campuses or facilities as needed.
