Registered Nurse - MSU/PCU (12-Hour Days)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour Day shifts with a first to float policy. Every other weekend required, with the possibility of 2 extra shifts within a 6-week period.

Job Description

The new unit will care for both Medical Surgical Unit (MSU) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) status patients. Patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:4 for PCU groups and 1:5 for Medical/Surgical groups. Floating to Telemetry and Med-Surg is expected as part of the role.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• NIHSS Certification
• Valid nursing license required for submission
