Night shift: 3x12 hour schedule.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) ensures the delivery of quality care by following the nursing care plan. This role contributes to patient safety and superior care practices as part of Select Medical's commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conducts nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
• Identifies teaching needs and collaborates with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides timely patient information for team conferences and maintains accurate documentation.
• Participates in the patient rehabilitation program, ensuring quality patient education and care.
• Initiates discharge planning from the day of admission and communicates changes in patient status.
• Supervises ancillary nursing personnel and contributes to a supportive team environment.
• Assumes charge responsibility as needed and engages in ongoing professional development.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS required prior to first shift (for specific assignments).
• Minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.
