Job Description

This position is specifically for a Registered Nurse working with an adult and geriatric patient population in a step-down/telemetry unit. The nurse will manage up to 6 patients and must have experience in acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes.
• Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2 years of step-down/telemetry experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Paragon and Pyxis.
