Day shift from 0700 to 1530, with call required and a 45-minute arrival time.

Job Description

The Operating Room Nurse will deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care during the perioperative period. This includes the ability to scrub, circulate, and work in the recovery room as needed, ensuring effective communication with other members of the perioperative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during the perioperative period.
• Scrub and circulate during various surgical procedures including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, podiatry, OB-GYN, pain management, urology, and endoscopy.
• Assist in the PACU phase 1 recovery of patients.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in circulating, scrubbing, and PACU recovery preferred.
• CNOR certification is preferred.
