3x12 Hour Shifts (Day/Night Rotation) - 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM / 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in our Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mothers and infants during the childbirth process.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and newborns.
• Manage high-risk deliveries and monitor fetal heart rates.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on care and breastfeeding practices.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Current New York State RN License required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, EFM.
• Must have experience with the Epic charting system.
