Schedule

Day 3x12-Hour shifts from 07:00 - 19:30. On-call responsibilities include one weeknight per week and one weekend out of five, with a call rotation of 1 in 4 or 5.

Job Description

We are seeking a Surgical Technologist with expertise in robotic surgeries to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting in a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures, including scrubbing and circulating for a variety of specialties, such as Orthopedics, ENT, General Surgery, and OB/GYN.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly within a 20-minute callback time.
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow aseptic techniques.
• Handle endoscopic and laparoscopic equipment with proficiency.
• Demonstrate knowledge of various surgical procedures and assist in patient care pre and post-operation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of surgical experience, preferably in a community hospital setting.
• Robotic experience is a must.
• Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA.
• New York State license required in hand to submit.
