Job Description

As a Practical Nurse, you will assist in the delivery of quality healthcare by applying sound nursing judgment in accordance with established healthcare techniques and procedures. You will actively engage with patients, families, and caregivers to coordinate patient care effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care and treatment through examination, diagnostic, and treatment procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
• React calmly and effectively during emergency situations.
• Participate in the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Current Pennsylvania Practical Nurse License.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification, renewed every two years.
