Cardiac Cath Lab Travel Position

This position is based in Washington state.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, working 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. Typically, 6 evening on-call shifts plus one weekend on call every 6 weeks.

Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab Travel Position is designed for experienced professionals in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This role requires collaboration with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately monitor patients during procedures and assist in equipment setup.
• Perform EKG lead placement and prepare access sites.
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and assist in triage as necessary.
• Maintain a sterile field during procedures and operate as the room circulator.
• Utilize vascular closure systems such as Perclose and StarClose.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab environment.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Active compact licensure or Washington state license.
• Experience with cardiac catheterizations, PCI, stent placements, and IABP placement.
• Preferred experience with specialized procedures including TAVR and VAD insertion.
