CT Technologist - Full-Time Days with Call Rotation

Job Description

As a CT Technologist, you will perform radiographic procedures under the direct supervision of the Imaging Director and in collaboration with the radiologist. Your role will significantly assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. You will be expected to work effectively with patients and their families, consult with other departments as necessary to enhance patient care, and engage in performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures to assist in diagnosis
• Work collaboratively with patients, families, and other departments
• Maintain a safe and clean environment adhering to infection control protocols
• Practice confidentiality and treat all individuals with respect and professional courtesy
• Accept and provide feedback, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
• Support the mission and vision of the organization
• Perform other duties as directed by the Imaging Director

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduation from an approved school of radiology technology
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current licensure by the State Department of Health
• Flexibility to work overtime and on-call duty as needed
• Understanding of age-related developmental issues for both pediatrics and geriatrics
• Must maintain continuing education requirements and current BLS certification

Schedule

This position requires day shift hours with a call rotation.
