06:30 AM - 07:00 PM, with required weekends.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will work in an environment that includes Pediatric Emergency, PICU, PIMC, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Oncology/BMT, and a Level 4 NICU. The therapist will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients with a focus on teamwork and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Administer nebulizer therapy and airway clearance treatments.
• Provide BiPAP and ventilator support.
• Utilize high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and bronchial assistance procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status and therapy effectiveness.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 6 months to 1 year of PICU or Level 3/Level 4 NICU experience.
• Must hold CRT or RRT certification.
• Texas RCP license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
