This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts consist of either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts (day/evening) from Monday to Friday. No on-call requirements for travelers.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to provide high-quality care in our Radiation Oncology department. The ideal candidate will work with Varian equipment and have a significant patient load, ensuring optimal treatment delivery for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatment to patients using Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and Varian ARIA Oncology Information System.
• Perform advanced radiation therapy techniques including IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT.
• Handle an average patient load of 25 patients per machine daily, alongside 6-9 CT simulation patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including in-house radiation oncologists.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification.
• ARRT registered Radiation Therapist certification.
• Current West Virginia state license.
• Experience with Varian Trilogy and Siemens Somatom equipment is preferred.
