Day and Night shifts available, 4x12-hour rotation. Must be available for every other weekend and some holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a MedSurg/Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care primarily for patients suffering from congestive heart failure (CHF), acute myocardial infarctions (MI), post-device care including pacemakers, and patients with dysrhythmias.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythm and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer IV therapy, including phlebotomy and peripheral line management.
• Provide respiratory support using nasal cannulas, oxygen face masks, and portable oxygen tanks.
• Respond to emergencies effectively, utilizing Rapid Response and Code teams as needed.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and maintain professional standards.
• Float to other units as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in MedSurg/Telemetry.
• Current New York RN License in hand is required; no exceptions.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with EPIC charting is mandatory.
