Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM. On call required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Radiology Specialist with a strong background in both cath lab and IR lab procedures. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of relevant experience and be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in both diagnostic and interventional settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic catheterizations and interventional procedures, including cardiac stent placements and PCI.
• Assist in the management of emergency situations, including procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Perform a variety of specialized procedures such as nephrostomy, lung biopsy, and central venous access.
• Maintain patient safety and uphold infection prevention standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two years of experience in both cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• New York State nursing license required in hand to submit.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system is required.
