Job Description

The Physical Therapist will primarily work in an outpatient setting, providing quality care to patients. The therapist will assess and treat individuals with various diagnoses while ensuring the implementation of up-to-date treatment practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs.
• Create and maintain accurate, timely reports and correspondence.
• Manage a diverse range of patients with various personalities and diagnoses effectively.
• Comply with state regulatory requirements and departmental standards.
• Stay informed about new treatment techniques and practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current California Physical Therapy License.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification approved by the AHA.
• Passed the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE).
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute, swingbed/skilled nursing, and/or outpatient settings.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to solve problems independently and collaborate with others effectively.
• Proficient in the use of computer and software.
• Compassionate approach to patient care.
• Timely and punctual in all responsibilities.
• Ability to multi-task various responsibilities.
