Night shift, working 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

Join our award-winning Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CIVPICU) as a Registered Nurse. The unit cares for patients with congenital heart disease of all ages, providing critical care for cardiac surgical and medical diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients with complex cardiac conditions.
• Monitor vital signs and adjust care based on acuity, adhering to patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory therapy and pediatric specialists.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Cardiac ICU.
• Experience with Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD) is highly preferred.
• Current SC or Multi State/Compact RN license is required.
• Certifications: PALS, BLS (American Heart Association), and ACLS preferred.
