Registered Nurse - Med Surg/Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend shifts as needed, likely every other weekend.

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a Med Surg/Telemetry setting, potentially floating to various medical-surgical floors as needed. This position may require patient care for individuals with COVID-19. The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients.
• Monitor and assess patients' health status and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and provide optimal patient care.
• Assist in emergency situations and utilize Rapid Response/Code teams appropriately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• EPIC electronic charting experience is required.
• Must be willing to float to different units as needed.
