Job Description

Physical Therapists are responsible for the evaluation of patients referred for physical therapy treatment, formulating treatment plans and goals, and administering physical therapy treatments. They will be active in both inpatient and outpatient services, interacting collaboratively with hospital departments and medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 patient care with a 45-minute appointment every hour.
• Perform appropriate evaluation tests and measurements based on the patient’s diagnosis.
• Develop treatment plans, reassessing and revising every 6 weeks or earlier based on patient progress.
• Administer physical therapy techniques suitable to the diagnosis.
• Document progress reports for patients timely to coincide with physician follow-ups and assist with insurance compliance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of PT experience preferred.
