Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) - Night Shift

Facility located in West Virginia.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, including weekdays and some weekends. The travel therapist may also be required to float between departments.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) with experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Emergency Room (ER) settings. The ideal candidate will be prepared to work alongside other therapists in high-pressure situations, ensuring the highest quality of respiratory care for patients across different age groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and therapeutic interventions for patients in critical care, general care, and emergency settings.
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment and perform assessments to monitor patients' respiratory status.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float between departments as required by facility needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, with PICU and ER experience preferred.
• Must have current certifications: ACLS, PALS, NALS for Pediatrics, and BLS.
• Licensure in West Virginia or compact license accepted.
