Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Mammography / Radiology Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care across all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure proper positioning, image quality, and adherence to ALARA radiation safety principles.
• Review physician orders and coordinate imaging exams with radiologists and other imaging modalities.
• Track and retrieve prior mammography images for comparison and interpretation.
• Provide patient education on breast health and self-examination.
• Serve as a technical resource for breast imaging, quality control, and equipment operation.
• Advocate for patients by coordinating care to minimize inconvenience and delays.
• Participate in departmental committees and assist with outreach and mammography service promotion.
• Support Bone Density exams and assist with CT, General X-Ray, and Fluoroscopy/OR procedures as needed.
• Take call as assigned and perform other duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT registration in Radiography and Mammography.
• Active California Radiologic Technologist License.
• Active California Mammographic Technologist License.
• Active California Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist License.
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification.
• California Venipuncture Certificate (required within 3 months of hire).
• Minimum of 5 years of mammography technologist experience.
