Full Time 3x12 Day Shift (7a-7:30p) with holidays and every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is required to be cross-trained for multiple units including Med/Surg, ICU, and ER. The role includes 2 On-Call shifts every 4 weeks, and candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) along with critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across various units including ICU, ER, Med/Surg, and MST.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team members.
• Assess patient needs and tailor care according to age-specific requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Currently licensed by NYS as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications through the American Heart Association or RQI during clinical orientation.
• NIHSS certification required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in MedSurg/Tele/Critical Care Units.
