Schedule

Full Time 3x12 Night Shifts (7 PM - 7:30 AM), holidays, and every other weekend required, as well as 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in multi-unit settings, including Med/Surg, ICU, and ER. This role requires flexibility to float between departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across various units, adapting to patient needs and unit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and confidentiality standards in all interactions.
• Display effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and team members.
• Participate in team collaboration and support a healthy working environment.
• Conduct assessments, interpret patient data, and provide age-appropriate care to diverse patient populations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med/Surg, Tele, or Critical Care Units.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required through AHA or RQI during clinical orientation.
• NIHSS certification required; Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
