Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM, requiring every third weekend and one major and one minor holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Labor & Delivery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a passion for maternal care, as you will support mothers throughout labor and delivery, ensuring safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring mothers and assist in deliveries.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal well-being.
• Coordinate with a team including OB, anesthesia, and nursing staff.
• Conduct skin-to-skin care practices with newborns.
• Ensure all necessary certifications are current and actively engage in continuous education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification preferred.
• At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
• C-section experience with circulating required.
• Must have strong IV skills.
