Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Laboratory will provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations, addressing the psychosocial and physical aspects of care related to the surgical environment. The role requires continuous communication with physicians regarding patient conditions and actively participating in performance improvement and quality activities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Continuously assess and record patients' conditions in the Cardiovascular lab.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, inventory management, and supply acquisition for procedures.
• Ensure all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification upon hire and must maintain current status.
• One (1) year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area required.
