Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a Pediatric and Neonatal setting. The unit consists of various departments including Pediatric ED, PICU, PIMC, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Oncology/BMT, and a Level 4 NICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to pediatric and neonatal patients
• Administer therapies such as nebulization, airway clearance, BiPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC)
• Utilize advanced equipment including Servo U ventilators, Avea ventilators, and Cough Assist devices
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a PICU or Level 3/Level 4 NICU
• Must hold CRT or RRT certification
• Texas RCP license required
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are essential
