Day shift, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 18:30). Weekends required, generally every other weekend. Block schedules required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist with experience in both Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) settings. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and management for critically ill patients in the PICU/NICU.
• Perform procedures such as extubation and intubation assist, nasal and oral airway placements, and tracheostomy care.
• Utilize ventilators and support equipment, including BiPAP and CPAP.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and weaning protocols.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of PICU/NICU experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Valid state license and certifications: BLS, RRT, PALS, and NRP.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
