Job Description

This position performs a variety of integrated functions using the nursing process while applying a broad nursing knowledge in a caring, concerned manner.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient for physical, emotional, psychological/social, and family support.
• Organize and coordinate all aspects of patient care according to the patient’s real and/or perceived needs.
• Evaluate patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge to determine if goals are being met according to the patient’s plan of care or clinical path.
• Consult and collaborate with members of the health care team in planning and implementing total patient care for individuals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience in Telemetry.
• Telemetry Cardiac experience is required.
• Recent traveler experience is highly preferred.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• Active Michigan nursing license.
