Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Travel Med Surg RN with a strong background in Med Surg to join our dedicated team. The role requires providing general medical administration of medication and care, as well as remote telemetry monitoring for patients with an emphasis on post-operative care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide care to patients on the Med Surg unit.
• Monitor patients remotely, with oversight from a telemetry technician.
• Provide post-operative care and support to surgical patients.
• Participate in floating to MS Tele as needed, adhering to a patient ratio of 1:6, with a maximum surge plan of 1:7.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2+ years of Med Surg experience required.
• 1+ year of recent travel experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Telemetry experience required.
• Cerner experience preferred.
