Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM, every other week.

Job Description

The Travel Med Surg RN will provide general medical administration and care, including remote tele monitoring with a monitor tech for rhymes and post-operative patient care. The nurse may float to medical-surgical telemetry units as needed, while maintaining a patient ratio of 1:6 with a surge plan of 1:7 maximum.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a medical-surgical setting, including post-operative and oncology patients.
• Monitor patients remotely with the support of telemetry technology.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess and implement care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2+ years of Med Surg experience required.
• 1+ year of recent travel experience required.
• Must have telemetry experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Cerner experience is required.
