Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg/Telemetry unit. This role involves providing high-quality patient care to a diverse population, ensuring that all medical procedures and protocols are followed. The RN will collaborate closely with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Care for med/surg/telemetry patients with a maximum patient ratio of 6:1.
• Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertions, urinary catheter management, central line maintenance, and medication administration.
• Monitor vital signs and conduct EKG interpretations.
• Document in the electronic health record (EHR) and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Assist with continuous bladder irrigation and NGT insertion/maintenance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• 1+ years of acute med/surg/tele experience within the last year.
• Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time.
