Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry - Nights - 13 Weeks

Schedule

This position offers a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts, covering both nights and days. The shifts are from 7 PM to 7 AM or 7 AM to 7 PM, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Nurses will be expected to work one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend, along with at least one holiday during the contract.

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in the West 7 Med/Tele Complex Care unit, which has 37 beds dedicated to acute medical-surgical and telemetry patients. This role requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to float to other units as needed. Nurses will typically work 2 weeks of nights followed by 3 weeks of days, with an emphasis on accommodating requested rotations where possible.

Required Experience and Certifications

• 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license.
• Current certifications in NIH and AHA BLS.
