Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (3/12's), with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy. The role entails demonstrating critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership while maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document nursing care.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice.
• Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families on conditions and self-care skills.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Current Arizona RN license, ACLS, and BLS certifications required.
• Experience with cardiac drips and familiarity with TAVRs and watchman mitral clips preferred.
