Job Description

The RN will partner with residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care. Responsibilities will include working in specialized units providing care to residents with Alzheimer's/Dementia, as well as those requiring short-term rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

• Utilize both verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to engage with residents.
• Provide tailored care to meet the unique needs of residents with Alzheimer’s/Dementia.
• Deliver skilled nursing and rehab services to patients recovering from various conditions.
• Administer IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessments.
• Collaborate with a team of care providers to ensure quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Valid State of Maine or compact RN license required.
• 1-3 years of previous RN experience.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to float to other units and cover shifts as needed.
