Job Description

The Blood Cancer/BMT Unit is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in chemotherapy/biotherapy administration and bone marrow transplant care. The unit consists of 8 beds and has a staff of 15, providing a supportive and collaborative environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments
• Provide care for patients undergoing bone marrow transplants
• Monitor patients through telemetry and cardiac monitoring
• Administer blood products as required

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License
• ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification
• BLS Certification
• Experience in BMT/Bone Marrow Transplant and Hematology preferred
• ONCC Oncology Certified Nurse Certification preferred
