Job Description

Under the supervision of the Manager of the Breast Center, the Mammography Technologist produces diagnostic mammograms, assists radiologists and referring physicians in mammographic procedures, and ensures patient care while representing organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic mammograms.
• Assist radiologists in mammographic procedures.
• Provide patient care based on age-specific competency standards.
• Make technical decisions to achieve optimal mammographic image quality.
• Operate hospital and department computer systems effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience.
• Licensure: ARRT and NV State License (must be obtained before start date).
• BLS Certification required.
