Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse with experience in Oncology and step-down care specializing in heavy sickle cell management. The ideal candidate should be chemotherapy certified, preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an oncology unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering treatment as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and care procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar specialty and setting.
• Current nursing license verification through Nursys.
• Certification card for chemotherapy administration.
• Skills checklist and professional references required.
