The position requires the following shift: 7P-7:30A, with rotating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our SICU team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional care for critically ill patients, utilizing strong critical thinking skills and extensive ICU experience to deliver timely and effective nursing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform critical care procedures including intubations, central line placements, and dressing changes.
• Utilize electronic documentation systems for patient records.
• Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2-3 years of ICU experience.
• Active Texas RN License (TEMP LICENSE NOT ACCEPTED).
• ACLS and BLS Certification are required.
• NIH Stroke Certification is mandatory.
