Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI procedures on patients in a hospital setting, adhering to all safety protocols and radiologic standards. This role requires the use of GE MRI equipment and contributes to the patient care and diagnostic processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI scans and assist in diagnosing diseases and conditions.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff on patient care.
• Document patient information and MRI results in the Meditech system.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards, including participating in rotating call, holidays, and hurricane teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in MRI is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with GE MRI equipment is preferred.
